You hit the nail on the head. Pharmaceutical companies are not incentivised to encourage health as it would lessen the demand for the masking of symptoms with expensive drugs. Doctors are rushing through patents and it's much easier to sign off on a prescription than it is to stop and listen and advise healthy changes in lifestyle. But the biggest culprit – the consumer. We have done this to ourselves. We all want a quick fix, a one pill does it all, no effort involved solution.
Keep up the great work posting articles like this. The more we know the harder it is to keep taking the easy way out.
