She could go to work and come home and do her crafts and take care of her home.  Wendy lived a simple life.  When I first met Wendy, she never complained.  Wendy was satisfied with her life.  No major dramas in her life and she liked it that way.

When Wendy was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer or adenocarcinoma, she was told that she had six months to live.  Wendy didn’t notice the changes in her body or additional pain, because she had become used to her body being in pain.  She couldn’t remember a day without pain since she was in her early 20′s.  Wendy had some undiagnosable pain, which today there would be more exploration of her possibly have other chronic diseases like fibromyalgia.

Wendy confided in her good friend Carol, a nurse who was exploring energy healing and was experienced in alternative/herbal therapies.  This was at a time when I was completely untested as a healer.  I had only worked with people who had some pain. Carol had met me at a crystal healing class, where we teamed up in groups of 4 channeling healing energy of crystals to assist people in their healing.

When I first met Wendy she was bright and full of cheer.  She had accepted her physician’s diagnosis and treatment.  She decided would receive chemotherapy treatments and she was open to other ways of healing.  The only thing Wendy was sad about was losing her hair.  She knew that she was going to lose her hair from the chemotherapy treatments.

Wendy agreed to see us twice a week.  Carol suggested that Wendy start taking an herbal remedy called ESSIAC TEA to help detoxify the effects of the chemotherapy.  The first time we met with Wendy as a group to do healing, the effects where immediately noticeable.  Wendy was tired and not her usual bright self.  One of the most shocking things about Wendy was that she had lost her hair within two weeks of beginning chemotherapy.  This was Wendy’s first lesson about the power of the mind.  She had convinced herself that she would lose her hair and she did with amazing rapidity.

Week in and week out we visited Wendy in her apartment spending anywhere from an hour and a half to three hours with her in session.  Some days were good others not so good.  Slowly Wendy’s life story came out and we began to see the emotional components of Wendy’s cancer.

I now know through my studies and observations as a medical intuitive that each type of cancer has a specific mental and emotional component.  At the time I was only concerned with healing the physical body and if the emotional, mental and spiritual components were attended to that was a bonus.

Wendy’s started talking about her issues at work and how she couldn’t stomach the people she worked with.  She revealed that she didn’t like the person her daughter had become and that there was a great gulf between them.   Eventually underneath the calm loving exterior, Wendy began to reveal emotions of resentment, pain, jealousy that she never admitted to herself.  She also revealed dreams that she had of things she wanted to do in her life and the relationship she wanted to have with the only living member of her family, her daughter.

We began to outline a plan for Wendy of how to change the relationships she had in her life.   We started with the least scary to most scary.  Healing her relationship with her daughter was the scariest thing she faced.  She even admitted that it was scarier to her than facing her cancer and possible death.  Slowly Wendy started confronting her co-workers.  She forgave those she needed to forgive and place boundaries around others.  With each person she completed her unfinished business with Wendy seemed to get stronger.  Finally she was ready to deal with her daughter.  Wendy started believing that it was a matter of life or death that she forgive her daughter and get on good speaking terms with her.  In one swift move Wendy accomplished this.  She said this was the scariest thing she had ever done in her life.  Somehow she was able to forgive her daughter and renewed a close relationship with her.

With each step Wendy got stronger and stronger, there was a glow to her skin, no more pale skin.  Wendy had more energy and she began to dream of the things she would do when the chemotherapy was done and she was healed.  Wendy felt like she was healed, she no longer wanted us to come to her home twice a week, she wanted us once a week and then reduced to every other week.  After three months, Wendy went to the oncologist, when she was tested for the cancer again.  Wendy was called into the office for the results.  Her oncologist told her the news.  Actually he apologized, he was sorry but apparently Wendy had been mis-diagnosed as they did not find any cancer, he said.  Wendy was ecstatic, and at the same time she was angry at her doctor, because just like any good patient, Wendy had undergone several tests when she received her diagnosis and had gotten several opinions.  Her Doctor simply refused to believe that the work she had done with her herbs, diet changes, and inner work.  He preferred to believe that she never had cancer in the first place.  But Wendy knew better, then left on her dreamtrip to Alaska.

Researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York looked at the levels of anti-oxidants vs. the amount of smoke exposure in more than 2,000 children and teens ages 6 and 18 in the 2003-2004 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.

The study, presented at the Pediatric Academic Society Meeting in Baltimore, showed that secondhand smoke exposure is associated with lower levels of anti-oxidants in children.

“We don’t know enough yet to say that this group of children need supplements to make up for the anti-oxidants they’re losing, but it’s always wise to feed children an abundance of fruits and vegetables high in anti-oxidants and other healthy nutrients,” Dr. Karen Wilson said in a statement.

Anti-oxidants are believed to play an important role in protecting the body’s cells against free radicals, which can damage cells, Wilson said.

The higher the level of cotinine — a byproduct of metabolizing tobacco smoke — in a child’s blood, the lower the anti-oxidant level, after controlling for diet and supplements, the researchers said.

In my opinion Dr. Karen Wilson does not go far enough in her statement.  Feeding an abundance of fruits and vegetables high in anti-oxidants is wonderful but once a person’s system is already compromised supplementation is necessary.

Your intuition is always at work… most times we are overloaded with intuitive awareness and information.  Information comes to you in all your chakras or energy centers not just the third eye as commonly believed.  Knowing how to identify the difference between the different stages of the intuition can be the difference between trusting your intuitive knowing and trusting your imagination.

The Seven Stages can be broken down into 3 levels of intuition.

1. The first level is Survival Intuition You are given this type of intuition to ensure your survival. Your whole being is wired to ensure the continuation of your life in spite of an accident, ordeal, or difficult circumstances.
2. The second level is Instinctual Intuition  Instinctual Intuition is a level of intuition that contains emotions
3. The third level of intuition is Psychic Intuition Psychic intuition is also known as ESP and mediumship.

Intuition can then be assigned to their specific energy center or chakra.

Each disease has its own energetic signature, its own emotional pattern as well as physiological patterns.  Herpes is just one of many chronic diseases that has stumped the establishment.  One of the first things you need to believe is that there is a cure.  If you believe there is no cure then there isn’t one.  However if you hold the thought form that there is a cure and it just hasn’t been found or publicized then you are way ahead of the game.

The following is the established medical understanding of how herpes works: once herpes gains a foothold, the virus begins making copies of itself and spreading. This can lead to a range of signs and symptoms, everything from subtle symptoms that go unrecognized to severe illness. In response, the immune system mobilizes its forces for an assault and limits herpes viral spread.

Whether there are severe symptoms or not, virus will persist in the body. To avoid the immune system, Herpes Virus will retreat along the nerve pathways, finding safe sanctuary in a nerve root called a “ganglion.” In cases of genital herpes, Herpes retreats to the sacral ganglion, located at the base of the spine. In “oral” or facial herpes (cold sores), HSV finds its way to the trigeminal ganglion, at the top of the spine. In the ganglion, the virus remains inactive (“latent”) for an indefinite period of time.

The phenomenon of latency is basically a sleep cycle. In essence, the virus returns to a safe haven and sleeps, sometimes for long periods. Unfortunately, while HSV is latent, various biological events can cause it to become active and begin traveling the nerve pathways back to the skin. There it can cause signs and symptoms again, though it doesn’t always do this.

How often the virus “wakes up” is a complicated question. It used to be thought that all of the Herpes Virus “waking times” were marked by outbreaks— an irregularity in the skin such as a pimple, for example, or else some kind of symptom like an itch. Then researchers learned that the virus could wake and become active without causing noticeable signs or symptoms: no itch, no pain, no pimples, no blisters.

Who gets herpes an how?

• About 50 percent to 80 percent of the adult population in the United States has oral herpes (commonly called cold sores or fever blisters), with as many as 90% having the virus by age 50.
• Most people contract oral herpes when they are children by receiving a kiss from a friend or relative.
• About one in five persons in the United States has genital herpes; however, as many as 90 percent are unaware that they have the virus. There are many reasons people do not know they have herpe.
• Anyone who is sexually active can contract genital herpes.

In other words, our current medical system does not have a cure for nor can it target who gets it.  Let’s take a look at it from a Medical Intuitive Perspective.  The first thing that one needs to note about herpes is that it is gotten from someone else.  Immediately, the Victim Archetype comes in front and center.  On an emotional and psychological level you must deal with your Victim Archetype.  Your victim archetype teaches you about control, responsibility and power.  The Victim Archetype is the Guardian of Self Esteem.  Unlike other sexually transmitted diseases which may bring the Saboteur to the front.  Herpes works with the Victim Archetype in you to sometimes make you feel helpless.

The lessons that come with Herpes is about personal boundaries and your interactions with people with whom you have control issues.  Being able to be out in the world with a cold sore without being conserned about what others think is the ultimate in self-esteem.

Looking at the chakra system.  The Herpes Virus retreats to the seventh & first chakras.  Issues of family, acceptance and even survival show up when one has the virus. Faith is tested and the question of why me is always being asked.

According to current medical wisdom there is no way to cure herpes, however using alternative therapies one can alleviate even eliminate the symptoms altogether.  Energy Medicine or hands on healing techniques can assist in working the the herpes virus itself.  Working with your Victim Archetype and any other archetype associated with your specific manifestation of Herpes is also very useful.  Chakra work on the 1st and 7th chakras help along with working with the energetics of the chakras that your symptoms manifest at when there is an outbreak.

This is a question that has been asked, studied and debated over and over throughout the years. It has become highlighted in this day and age because we all are seeking scientific proof for things that we cannot explain yet. The body communicates with different qualities of energy.

The energy is not exactly the same type of energy that runs your refrigerator, it is a much more subtle form of energy.  The energy can and has been measured by scientific means.  Some call it vibrational energy others call it piezo-electric energy and others call it the electro-magnetic fields.  The energy your body emits is everywhere. Energy can be measured, felt, communicated and changed by interacting with other energy sources.
